Strata Systems’ Punch List Version 2 Offers Compatibility With Primavera Software
AUSTIN, Texas & BALA CYNWYD, Pa. — January 26, 1999 — Strata Systems, LC, an innovative developer of software for the Palm Computing(R) platform, and Primavera Systems, Inc., the leading developer of integrated, scalable, project management software solutions, Tuesday announced that the latest version of Strata Systems' Punch List(tm) project tracking software, due in March, will include an interface to Primavera's leading project management software. Punch List extends the reach of project managers and keeps them on top of their rapidly changing projects. As a member of the Primavera Partners Program, Strata Systems developed an interface that exchanges schedule information directly with SureTrak Project Manager(R), Primavera's project management software for small to medium size projects.
Once the data is in SureTrak, it can be seamlessly shared with Primavera Project Planner(R) (P3(R)), Primavera's high-end project management software for professional project managers. SureTrak Project Manager users can easily implement Punch List version 2 as their field data collection tool so schedule information tracked in SureTrak can be downloaded to Palm Computing devices for review and updating from the field.
Information collected in the field can then be uploaded back into SureTrak for updating of project data. With this interface, project managers can better understand the real status of their projects.
