AT&T/EO and Top Five Independent Software Vendors Begin Nationwide Roadshow to Demonstrate Effective Real World Software Solutions for Mobile Computing
LOS ANGELES — October 12, 1993 — EO Inc., an AT&T company, and top PenPoint independent software vendors (ISVs) kicked off a six city nationwide solutions seminar tour Tuesday in Los Angeles.
The seminars will showcase the powerful software applications now available for the EO and EO compatible platforms. Top marketing executives from Notable Technologies, PenMagic Software, Pensoft, Deskin and aha! will be on-hand to meet with customers and resellers in an educational and enlightening seminar series.
"This is a unique opportunity for resellers and corporate buyers to get a hands-on look at the applications that make the EO such an effective mobile communications tool," said Dave Larson, vice president of marketing at Notable Technologies, one of five participating ISVs. "The AT&T/EO Personal Communicator provides software developers with the ability to provide elegant and seamless business solutions."
The seminar will unveil real-world case studies of early adopters that demonstrate how the EO, combined with powerful applications software, is already increasing productivity in a variety of field automation applications. The seminar will also include a "day in the life" example of a user collecting, managing, sending and receiving information to enhance their productivity. Attendees will get a hands-on look at a wide range of proven integrated software solutions that they can deploy immediately to meet their demanding mobile computing requirements. Deskin Research Group – Publishes Gnosis(TM), a document access and retrieval system.
PenMagic Software – Publishes LetterExpress(TM) word processing software and Numero(TM) numeric work processor.
pensoft – Publishes Perspective Business Edition(TM) upgrade to the Personal Perspective(TM) software contained in the EO's ROM.
