Dendrite and PenVision Announce Alliance to Develop Application for Mobile Workers to Support the New Microsoft Windows Platform for Hand-Held PCs

MORRISTOWN, N.J. — September 16, 1996 — Dendrite International, Inc. (NASDAQ:DRTE), the world's largest supplier of enterprise-wide customer management solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, and PenVision Information Systems, Inc., a technological leader in the development of applications for palm-based systems and PDAs to support mobile workers, today announced the formation of a business alliance to develop superportable applications to support the new Microsoft Windows CE platform. Currently, the two companies are collaborating on a hospital representative system that will be integrated into Dendrite's suite of applications.
