AllPen Software Announces AllPen Mobile Forms Database Product for Windows CE-Based Handheld Devices
LAS VEGAS — November 18, 1996 — COMDEX/AllPen(R) Software, Inc., a company specializing in custom handheld PC and PDA software development for Fortune 1000 firms, today announced their AllPen Mobile Forms Database product for the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) CE platform for handheld PCs. AllPen's product, targeted at the mobile data collection and corporate Intranet user, is a powerful forms-based data collection solution. AllPen is demonstrating the application in the Microsoft Corp. "Partner Pavilion" (Booth No. F2) at the COMDEX '96 tradeshow in Las Vegas, Nevada this week.
AllPen Mobile Forms Database allows users to create their own customized forms; without the need for a desktop application. Custom forms are created on the Windows CE-based device to precisely fit the users database requirements. Field types are easily defined and pre-set default responses can be entered, saving time when entering repetitive data. Field types include text, note, number, pop-up menus, radio buttons, and checkboxes.
