Mobility Award Winners Announced at Mobile Insights ’97; Industry Leaders Recognized at the Mobile Insights 1997 Conference
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — February 26, 1997 — Mobile Insights, Inc., announced today the winners of the third annual "Mobility Awards" which were presented at Mobile Insights '97, a three-day conference for leaders in the mobile computing and communications industries, that was held Feb. 23-25, 1997, at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, Calif.
The Mobility Awards winners were recognized for their products, technologies, services and people that helped to changed the landscape of the mobile computing and data communications marketplace. This year's Mobility Awards were sponsored by Mobile Computing & Communications magazine and were presented on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at a banquet sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. The nominees were selected by the Mobile Insights Mobility Awards Committee which included more than 20 editors and analysts who specialize in mobile computing and communications.
