aha! software corp. – InkWriter 2.0 for Windows Fact Sheet
InkWriter 2.0 for Windows was a pen-based word processor from aha! software corporation of Mountain View, California. It brought the company's combined handwriting-and-typing editor — built on its patent-pending SmartInk technology — to Microsoft Windows 3.1 systems running Windows for Pen Computing 1.0, following the original InkWriter, which had shipped on the GO PenPoint operating system.
The fact sheet listed InkWriter 2.0 at a $199 list price, with a $149 direct introductory price through August 1, 1994, and distribution through Merisel. Version 2.0 added toolbars, Action Menus, a Space Tool, and a Print-Preview with automatic Wrap-to-Fit that scaled pages to standard paper margins.
