Citrix to Showcase MetaFrame Server-Based Computing Software at Mobile and PDA Expo
CHICAGO — April 16, 1999 — At Mobile and PDA Expo, (Booth No. 26), Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), will demonstrate how users of the latest PDAs such as Sharp Mobilon, can access enterprise applications in a mobile computing environment with Citrix MetaFrame(tm) server-based computing software. Citrix Independent Computing Architecture (ICA), embedded in Sharp Mobilon, enables users to access full-function, Windows-based personal productivity and line-of-business applications executing from Citrix MetaFrame servers, complementing and extending the functionality of the "pocket" versions of Windows-based applications that run on the handheld device. In addition, the three-day show (April 21-23) at the Sheraton Hotel &Towers in Chicago, Il., will feature keynote presentations from Citrix and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, discussing the cost and performance benefits of server-based computing solutions.

Gray will elaborate on the total cost of ownership and performance benefits of server-based computing in a fast paced mission-critical environment.
Panel Discussion on Wireless Communications–Jeff Schou, senior manager for marketing at Symbol Technologies
