MobileSoft Offers Reward to Newton Users

MobileSoft Corp., the developer of the handy Newton spreadsheet MobileCalc, is offering Newton users an unbeatable deal on their new software package MobileMath.

MobileMath is a mathematical assistant that solves equations as written on the Newton screen. By writing the equation and tapping the Newton Assist button, MobileMath displays an immediate result that can then be further manipulated. In addition, formulas and equations can be saved and used over again by simply writing new values over the old.

MobileSoft’s Early Adopter Reward will put MobileMath into the hands of Newton users for the nominal $10 cost of shipping and handling, instead of the regular $79 suggested price. Announced in mid-December, MobileSoft plans to extend this offer to the first 5,000 qualified respondents and will end the promotion on January 31, 1994.

This doesn’t leave much time. However, the good news is that Pen-Based Computing has specially arranged to have MobileSoft extend this deadline for our readers.
