SunDisk Corporation— The maker of PCMCIA-based storage cards named Robert Wallace as vice president of manufacturing. Wallace was formerly director of operations at SunDisk.

SunDisk also hired Heinz-Hermann Schulte to manage European sales at the company’s first European sales office in Hannover, Germany.

State Of The Art, Inc.— The Irvine, California-based developer of accounting software, and developer of the Newton package ExpensePlus, announced senior management changes following its merger with Manzanita Software Systems.

Corley Phillips, former president of Manzanita Software will become vice president of marketing for State Of The Art.

Communication Intelligence Corp.— The developer of the Handwriter Recognition Systems and MacHandwriter announced the election of Philip S. Sassower to its board of directors. Mr. Sassower was also named chairman of the board’s finance committee.

Mr. Sassower is currently the chairman of Newpark Resources Inc.

Compression Labs, Inc.— Filed in the category of “Whatever happened to…?” Compression Labs, a San Jose, California company, named Bob Silver vice president of worldwide commercial marketing. Mr. Silver was formerly director of sales and channel development at AT&T EO Inc.
