ARDIS and PenWare Bring ARDIS PersonalMessaging to Motorola’s Envoy Wireless Communicator

February 14, 1995 —  ARDIS, the nation’s first and largest wireless data communications network, and PenWare Inc., a leading personal communicator and mobile computing software developer, have announced that ARDIS “PersonalMessaging”(R), AR-DIS’ two-way interactive wireless nationwide messaging service, is available for Motorola’s Envoy wireless communicator. PenWare developed the user interface and wireless connectivity software that enables ARDIS “PersonalMessaging”(R) to operate on the Envoy communicator.

ARDIS “PersonalMessaging” for the Envoy communicator is designed to address the wireless communication needs of mobile work groups who require cost-effective, real-time, daily communication. The service addresses the needs of mobile work groups in all industries, from Fortune 500 executives to small service and repair companies who depend on dispatch services.
