FASTECH President Richard Hirsh Joins Board of Directors for Fujitsu Personal Systems; Software Executive to Advise Pen-Based, Handheld Computer Manufacturer on Sales Automation Technology Requirements

April 29, 1996 — FASTECH, Inc. and Fujitsu Personal Systems, Inc. (FPSI) announced today that Richard Hirsh, president and CEO of FASTECH, has joined FPSI’s board of directors. Mr. Hirsh will bring in-depth experience to the mobile computer vendor on the technology requirements of sales organizations, particularly in the retail and merchandising sectors.

Richard M. Hirsh has been President and Chief Executive Officer of sales force automation software developer FAS-TECH, Inc., since January 1993. He joined the company in 1985 as an Account Manager and drove substantial growth in the late eighties and early nineties as Vice President – Sales and Marketing. As a result of his efforts, FASTECH markets one of the industry’s leading client/server, pen-compatible sales force automation products — FastTrack(tm) –now used by large sales forces of Fortune 500 companies in North America and Europe to address sales management, account management, and retail requirements.
