PenStuff Announces Financial Calculator for Computers Running PenPoint

February 28, 1992 — PenStuff Inc. Friday announced the availability of the PenStuff RPN12C+ Financial Calculator.

The PenStuff RPN12C+ is available for pen-based computers running GO Corp.’s PenPoint, pen-centric operating system.

“This type of software further demonstrates the versatility of the PenPoint Notebook User Interface. This product helps to consolidate the number of tools a business professional must carry,” said Jerry Kaplan, co-founder of GO Corp.

The PenStuff RPN12C+ Financial Calculator is an easy to use pen-based software product. The RPN12C+ features Reverse Polish Notation data entry, simple arithmetic, simple and compound interest calculations, Net Present Value and Internal Rate of Return calculations. Bonds, amortization, statistics and programmable operations are also included. The PenPoint specific features of this product include: numeric pen input, embedded results and on line context sensitive help.

The PenStuff RPN12C+ will be available in March, 1992. PenStuff Inc. will offer a beta release of the product for $49, at that time. All registered beta customers will be upgraded to the production release for a nominal fee. The availability of Version 1.0 of the software will coincide with the production release of PenPoint. The Version 1.0 of the product will have a list price of $59. Volume, corporate and OEM discounts are available.

Certified, PenPoint Developer. In addition to producing shrink wrapped software, PenStuff is working with other corporations to port and develop applications for PenPoint.
