Active Paper’s Presto!Mail Honored by mobilis: the mobile computing lifestyle magazine
AUSTIN, Texas — March 4, 1996 — Active Paper's Presto!Mail, the first product to offer direct Internet e-mail access for personal communicators, has received a mobilis Magazine Reader's Choice Award as the top PDA software for Magic Cap personal communicators.
mobilis magazine polled its readers over the past three months, seeking opinions about various products and services that enable mobile computing. According to mobilis editor and publisher John Jerney, "mobilis readership represents a select group of people who are deeply interested and highly informed about the mobile computing market and, although the Reader's Choice awards do not represent a scientific survey, we believe the awards provide valuable insight about the current state of the mobile computing marketplace."
"Active Paper is honored that mobilis readers chose Presto!Mail as the #1 software package for Magic Cap personal communicators," according to Active Paper's Chief Executive Officer, Steve Vandegrift. "Since its introduction last September, Presto!Mail has received a tremendous response in the marketplace, and Active Paper is committed to new versions of Presto!Mail that will add more features and significantly enhance its useability."
