CIC Announces New Handwriting Recognition Software for Microsoft Windows CE Platform

LAS VEGAS — November 18, 1996 — Communication Intelligence Corporation (NASDAQ: CICI) (CIC) today announced Jot, a new handwriting recognition system optimized for the new Microsoft Windows CE operating system platform.

Jot is a user-independent handwriting recognition system coupled with a patented user interface designed to meet specific needs associated with entering handwritten information on handheld computer devices. CIC intends to license this software to manufacturers that use the Microsoft Windows CE platform.
