CIC Lists Class B Common Shares on NASDAQ

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. — September 19, 1991 — Communication Intelligence Corp. (CIC) announced that the company's Class B common shares began trading Thursday on the NASDAQ over-the-counter quotation system, under the symbol CICIB.

The company was founded in 1981 in conjunction with SRI International, one of the world's leading research, development, and consulting organizations.

With headquarters in Redwood Shores, CIC has an international subsidiary, CIC Japan Inc., in Tokyo.

CIC's products and technology are judged by industry experts to be state-of-the-art and of the highest quality. CIC's Handwriter (R) Recognition System was selected by R&D Magazine to receive one of its prestigious 1990 R&D 100 Awards for Significant New Technical Product of the Year.

In February 1991, CIC introduced MacHandwriter (TM) which, when combined with the Macintosh (R), created the world's first full- capability pen input desktop PC. CIC has appointed Apple Japan Inc. as its exclusive distributor for the Japanese version of MacHandwriter.

In June 1991, NCR introduced the world's first full-capability 386 pen-input notepad computer. This PC incorporates CIC's multi-language recognition and pen interface technology compatible with operating systems such as MS-DOS (R), Microsoft's Windows (TM) for Pen Computing, and Go's PenPoint (TM).

CIC's corporate charter is to increase the productivity and creativity of people through the development of technology and products which make computers easier to use, CIC is pursuing its charter by developing and marketing natural pen-input technology and products which simplify the process of computing and communicating.
