Communication Intelligence Corp. Third Quarter 1996 Financial Results

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. — November 13, 1996 — Communication Intelligence Corp. (CIC) (Nasdaq:CICI) today announced its financial results for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1996, the third quarter of its 1996 fiscal year.

Revenues for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1996 were $ 754,000, as compared to $ 639,000 for the corresponding quarter of the prior year.

The net loss for the quarter was $ 1.4 million, as compared to a net loss of $ 1.5 million for the corresponding quarter of the prior year. The net loss per share was approximately $ 0.03 on 41.9 million weighted average common shares outstanding for the current quarter as compared to a net loss of approximately $ 0.04 per share on 34.1 million weighted average common shares outstanding for the corresponding quarter of the prior year.
