Communication Intelligence Corporation Appoints Michael Marubio as Vice President of Enterprise Sales

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. — June 2, 1998 — Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC) announced today that Michael Marubio has been recruited and appointed Vice President of Enterprise Sales. Mr. Marubio will be responsible for the sale of CIC's pen computing software products in corporate and government accounts. CIC is a leading provider of software tools that enable computer applications to electronically capture and verify written signatures. Organizations such as GNMA and Dade County Court System currently use CIC's products to automate processes which formerly relied on signed paper documents to maintain an audit trail. Mr. Marubio's background includes the sales of high technology products. He was previously Director of Marketing and Sales for Logos Corporation, where he made a major contribution to increasing their sales and visibility in the machine translation business.

While at Logos, Mr. Marubio designed and implemented strategies to sell to large accounts. He was responsible for selling Internet-based machine translation solutions to European and North American Global 2000 firms. Mr. Marubio holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. "Michael represents the combination of strategic thinking and sales skills which we believe will assist CIC," said Guido DiGregorio, CIC's President and COO. "Michael has demonstrated an ability to leverage his experience to sell high technology products. His proven skills should greatly enhance the Company's ability to sell pen computing solutions to corporate and government accounts.
