Euphonix Appoints Senior Vice President of Operations.

PALO ALTO, Calif. — February 10, 1998 — Euphonix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EUPH) today announced the appointment of Paul Hammel as Senior Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Hammel was most recently Vice President of Customer Service and President of Walker Equipment at Plantronics, Inc. He was responsible for Santa Cruz Operations consisting of distributor and end user support, customer satisfaction and P&L responsibility for three business units.

Prior to Plantronics, Mr. Hammel was the Vice President of Operations and Customer Service at EO, Inc. where he was responsible for completing the development of hardware to manufacturing-ready status and outsourcing volume manufacturing operations of a personal communications product. Prior to EO, he was Vice President of Manufacturing and Product Management at GRiD Systems, where he established and managed the factories and facilities producing laptop computers, servers and peripherals.

Mr. Hammel has a BME from the University of Minnesota and a MBA from Stanford University.
