GRiD Names Two New Vice Presidents

FREMONT, Calif. — July 19, 1991 — GRiD Systems Corp. announced Friday the promotions of Dan Langham to the position of vice president and controller and Rosendo Parra to the position of vice president of GRiD's federal systems operations.

The appointments were effective July 1, 1991.

Langham, 37, previously directed GRiD's administrative and accounting activities. He joined GRiD in 1989 after spending four years with the Tandy Name Brands Retail Group of Tandy Corp.

Langham has also held positions with Ernst & Young and the federal government's Defense Contract Audit Agency. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and a master's degree in accounting from San Diego State University. He is also a certified public accountant.

Parra, 31, joined GRiD in 1989. Since joining GRiD, he has held a variety of positions including district manager, regional director and, most recently, director of federal systems sales. Before coming to GRiD, Parra worked 12 years with Tandy Corp. in sales management. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Maryland.

GRiD designs, manufactures, markets and services laptop, pen-based and desktop computers, pen-based software development tools, electronic mail and networking systems.

GRiD, which has an extensive direct sales and support organization, demonstrates products at 45 GRiD Systems Centers and sells products through value-added resellers (VARs).
