Industry Support Soars for Innovate ’93

HOUSTON — August 10, 1993 — Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE:CPQ) today announced that industry support continues to grow significantly for Innovate '93, the worldwide technology conference and exhibition to be held next month in Houston.

As of last week, more than 100 speakers from 40 companies confirmed their spot in the technology conference, which includes 125 tutorials, breakout sessions and seminars, and keynote addresses from industry luminaries. Compaq expects to have more than 300 speakers confirmed for the five-day event to be held September 13-17, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

More than 35 companies have also added their names to the list of those planning to exhibit products and services. Along with solutions from Compaq, attendees will be able to see useful technology for today, and emerging technologies for tomorrow.
