Metrowerks Adds to Senior Management Team; Ken Edwards Appointed Vice-President OEM Licensing
AUSTIN, Texas — September 10, 1998 — Ken Edwards, formerly with Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector, has joined Metrowerks Inc. (NASDAQ:MTWKF)(TSE:MWK)(ME:MWK) as Vice-President, OEM Licensing. "Working for Mr. David Perkins, SVP OEM Licensing, Mr. Edwards will be responsible for building and managing our growing OEM-based business," said Jean Belanger, chief executive officer, Metrowerks. Before joining Motorola, Mr. Edwards was with Advanced Micro Devices where he was product marketing manager for AMD's 29K microprocessors targeting the high performance imaging and networking markets. Mr. Edwards began his career with Tracor, now Marconi North America Inc., developing microprocessors and software for defense-based applications. Mr. Edwards graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and Southwest Texas State University with an MBA.
