Metrowerks Ships CodeWarrior Magic/MPW, First Publicly Available Development System for Magic Cap Applications Development
AUSTIN, Texas — May 8, 1995 — Metrowerks (VSE, ME:MWK) announced today that CodeWarrior Magic/MPW, the first publicly available toolkit for the Magic Cap platform, has begun shipping and is commercially available.
The availability of CodeWarrior Magic/MPW, a Macintosh-hosted toolkit for Magic Cap applications development, marks the opening of the Magic Cap developer platform to developers outside of General Magic's current developer program.
CodeWarrior Magic/MPW is available from Metrowerks and its resellers for $ 299. The price includes a free upgrade to the next release of CodeWarrior Magic and two subsequent releases, and support from Metrowerks' Technical Support group. Metrowerks will also include a free copy of CodeWarrior Magic/MPW with their regularly scheduled mailing to their current CodeWarrior customers worldwide, and developers who purchase Metrowerks developer tools between now and September 1995 will also receive the first release of CodeWarrior Magic/MPW at no additional cost.
