Mobile Insights Announces Nominees for the Third Annual Mobility Awards
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — January 30, 1997 — Mobile Insights Inc., announced today the nominations for the third annual "Mobility Awards" to be presented at Mobile Insights '97, a three-day conference for leaders in the mobile computing and communications industries, Feb. 23-25, 1997, at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, Calif.
The Mobile Insights Mobility Awards recognize the leading products, technologies, services and people changing the landscape of the mobile computing and data communications marketplace. This year's Mobility Awards are sponsored by Mobile Computing & Communications magazine and will be presented on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at a banquet sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. The nominees were selected by the Mobile Insights Mobility Awards Committee which includes 28 editors and analysts specializing in mobile computing and communications.
"The third annual Mobility Awards will honor the products, technologies, services and individuals that have had a significant impact on the growth and development of the mobile computing and communications industries," said Dr. Gerry Purdy, president and CEO. "The awards banquet is to be the highlight at Mobile Insights '97."
