SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 30, 1997 — Puma Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:PUMA), the leading provider of Mobile Data Exchange(TM) software solutions, has announced an agreement with NEC Computer Systems to bundle a version of its IntelliSync(TM) for Windows CE synchronization software with the new NEC MobilePro 450.

With IntelliSync, users of handheld devices, like the NEC MobilePro 450, can synchronize data between the handheld device, desktop computers and a spectrum of disparate database applications such as personal information management (PIM) software and scheduling/contact applications. IntelliSync allows users of popular PIMs and schedulers including Microsoft Outlook 97 and Schedule+, Lotus Organizer, Symantec ACT!
