VERSION 3.0 — ENHANCING THE PATENTED SYNCHRONIZATION SOLUTION
Intellisync version 3.0 will continue to provide a powerful solution enabling consumers to keep their most important information, including calendars, contacts, notes, to-do's, and now e-mail, constantly up-to-date between Palm Computing platform products and the broadest range of PC applications. With its powerful new capabilities, version 3.0 builds on Puma Technology's patented Data Synchronization Extensions Technology (DSX Technology(TM)), offering advanced capabilities like full conflict resolution, field mapping and filtering to ensure accuracy and reliability.
SYNCHRONIZATION SOLUTION EXTENDED TO E-MAIL
Intellisync now adds support for importing, exporting and synchronizing e-mail messages between Palm III and PalmPilot Professional Edition devices, and Microsoft's Outlook and Exchange applications. Users can even synchronize their in-box, out-box, draft and filed e-mail with multiple folders simultaneously.
VERSION 3.0 OPTIMIZED FOR MICROSOFT OUTLOOK
Intellisync version 3.0 has added synchronization capabilities specifically designed to enhance its use and performance with Microsoft Outlook 97/98. Synchronization is now three to five times faster than the previous version, depending on the memory, number of records, and local versus server-based storage. Also, Intellisync makes it simple to synchronize information in users' custom Microsoft Outlook folders with the intuitive new Folder Browser feature. Further, users can now synchronize their Palm Computing platform devices with their Microsoft Outlook and Exchange Personal Address Book (PAB). Lastly, with meeting attendee support, Intellisync can now maintain all pertinent Microsoft Outlook attendee meeting information when synchronizing events.
Enjoying its new benefits, corporate customers are applauding Intellisync version 3.0's extended support for Outlook. "I've been an Intellisync — and PalmPilot — user from the beginning," said Intellisync customer and Intellisync 3.0 beta tester, Clayton Spitz, vice president of vertical markets, TeleCheck International, Inc. "As a PalmPilot user, switching from one application to another was a breeze with Intellisync. Now that we're using Microsoft Outlook, the new version 3.0 capabilities like easy Outlook folder management, meeting attendee support, and dramatically faster synchronization performance make taking information on the road a snap."
LOTUS NOTES LEADS LIST OF NEW SUPPORTED APPLICATIONS
With version 3.0, Intellisync now offers robust Lotus Notes support, bringing its complete range of advanced address, datebook, to-do, and journal synchronization capabilities, like full conflict resolution and filtering, to users of Lotus Notes 4.5/4.6. Puma has been recognized for developing the optimal synchronization solution for Lotus Notes, having received the prestigious Editor's Choice Silver Award from Lotus Notes & Domino Advisor. Intellisync also adds Lotus Organizer 4.1 Premium Edition, Symantec Act! 4.0, and Eudora Planner 4.0 to its broadest application support previously including: Microsoft Outlook 97/98, Microsoft Schedule+ 7.0/7.0a/7.5, Lotus Organizer 2.1/97/GS, Day-Timer Organizer 2.1/98, Goldmine 3.2/4.0, Novell GroupWise 5.2, On Technology Meeting Maker 5.03, Symantec ACT! 3.07/3.08., Palm Desktop Organizer and ASCII.
ENHANCED PALM COMPUTING PLATFORM SUPPORT

Users can now enjoy two-way synchronization with the expense section in PC-based applications supporting it such as Day-Timer Organizer. With the addition of virtual fields, Intellisync now allows users to map information in PC applications to the PalmPilot, even when it does not have corresponding fields.
