Wall Street Goes Wireless; RadioMail Introduces Personal Interactive Mobile Stock Quote Service

SAN MATEO, Calif. — February 9, 1995 — RadioQuotes, the first ever personal interactive wireless stock quote and financial portfolio management service, has been introduced by RadioMail Corp.

RadioQuotes enables the busy professional to monitor his or her own investment portfolio in this volatile market. The RadioQuotes service delivers instant stock quotes on-demand, signals fluctuations in prices, and automatically sends a financial portfolio summary to subscribers at the end of each trading day.

Subscribers can track any of the 20,000 stocks on the New York, NASDAQ and American exchanges, in addition to mutual funds, futures and commodities prices. The RadioQuotes service allows a subscriber to get up to 100 quotes a day. During trading, if an item in the personal portfolio reaches a high or low trigger price point, the subscriber is automatically notified in the form of an instant message delivered over the air to his or her notebook computer, palmtop computer, or wireless communicator.

"A large part of our customer base consists of business people on the go," said Bruce Walter, RadioMail president and chief executive officer. "With the RadioQuotes service, our customers can now track their investments without having to manually issue a request; their financial data is delivered whether they are in an office, hotel, or airport. Integrating this stock quote service with our wireless internet e-mail, paging and news services really simplifies life for busy executives."

"I was able to monitor a substantial list of my securities and I even reacted to an all-time high trigger alarm on one of them which netted me a great profit," said David Z. Tuttleman, chairman of Rodento Management Inc. "I would not have known about the high had I not had RadioQuotes. To be able to have my entire portfolio delivered to me wherever I am is an incredible advantage over the marketplace. I would recommend it to anybody that plays the market."

If the subscriber is outside of the coverage area or if their wireless device is turned off, RadioQuotes messages and portfolio summary reports are held until he or she returns into the coverage area or their device is turned back on — RadioMail guarantees that wireless messages are never lost. RadioMail is offered over major wireless networks, with coverage exceeding 92% of the urban business population of the U.S.

The service can be accessed from all major platforms including Windows, DOS, Macintosh, HP Palmtop PCs, and the new Motorola Marco and Envoy wireless communicators.

According to Walter, "RadioQuotes offers subscribers customized control over their investments that is unprecedented. At anytime they can proactively initiate a stock quote request and modify the collection of items they want to monitor."

The RadioQuotes service is available at only $9.95 per month with a subscription to RadioMail. Depending on the service option selected, a subscriber can have nationwide access to RadioMail services, including Internet e-mail, peer-to-peer messaging, paging, faxing and headline news for as little as $39 per month, which is considerably less than most nationwide alpha-numeric paging services.

RadioMail Corp. and its resellers can provide the software, wireless device and service subscription required to begin using RadioMail and the RadioQuotes service. To subscribe, call RadioMail Corp. Sales Department at (800) 597-6245.
