Up until now, virtually all pen-based development training sessions have been vendor sponsored. That’s quickly changing, however, with independent companies offering authorized training for pen-based software developers. Linc Systems is providing week-long training sessions starting this month consisting of a three-day PenPoint Architecture Course and a two-day PenApps Programming Workshop. Information Retrieval Methods is offering a two-day course on PenApps.

It’s probably safe to say that these companies will be offering workshops covering other environments in the future. We haven’t attended any of these sessions, so we’d be interested in comments from class attendees.
