The online, fully electronic version of Pen-Based Computing is here! Pen-Based Computing / Online (PBC/Online) is now available as an electronic document using WordPerfect’s Envoy viewer. Using Envoy, the electronic version of the newsletter that you see on screen looks identical to the printed copy that you have in front of you now.

And when renewal time comes around, here are a few reasons why you should consider shifting to PBC/Online:

  • It’s faster. Using the Internet, you can save the week that the paper issue spends at the printer and in the post.
  • It’s less expensive. PBC/Online is priced at US $150 (Cdn $200), 25% less than the paper version. Our savings are your savings.
  • It’s nicer to trees… and people. Enough said.

In addition, PBC/Online gives you unparalleled flexibility. You can cut and paste information (within copyright limits) from the online document, or print the entire newsletter on your printer. If you like, you can use PBC/Online to simply get your paper copy faster! As a subscriber to PBC/Online, you will receive a monthly email notification, along with the password for the issue. PBC/Online is currently available through Internet ftp, however we will soon have it on other commercial online services as well.

Since you are a valued subscriber to Pen-Based Computing, we would like you to experience PBC/Online for yourself. To receive the password for this issue, please email [email protected] with your name and company affiliation.
