Reaction Very Positive to Mobile Lifestyle Magazine

As scheduled, the premier issue of mobilis: the mobile computing lifestyle magazine became freely available on the World Wide Web on the morning of June 5th. And all indications are that the magazine had a very successful first month. mobilis is entirely about creating a worldwide community of mobile computing users that can communicate almost instantly with the editors and mobilis advertisers. And communicate they did, reaching a peak of up to a message a minute at the busiest times.

The premier issue features a multimedia interview with General Magic’s Andy Hertzfeld with Andy explaining how he uses Magic Cap as an integral part of his daily life. It’s unlikely that you’ve ever seen an interview quite like this. Other articles include book and software reviews, a Mobile Watch column, and the highly popular regular column, “Ask Ms. PDA.”
