Communication Intelligence Corp. – QuickNotes 2.0 (Windows CE)
QuickNotes 2.0 was an electronic note-taking application for Microsoft Windows CE handheld computers, published by Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC) of Redwood Shores, California. Designed to mirror the feel of pen and paper, it let users take handwritten notes, draw, and erase directly on screen with electronic ink, then stamp each note with the date, time, or an event, class, or status label.
The program ran on H/PC devices using Windows CE 1.0 or 2.0 and emphasized a light footprint — ink compression, automatic data saving, and low memory and CPU requirements, with each page averaging about 1KB of storage. Users could create as many pages as they liked and navigate, find, and organize their notes from the application's menus and tool bar.
